VANGELIS RINAS
Painter – Sculptor
Vangelis Rinas was born in Samos, Greece in 1966. He holds an MFA from the Athens School of Fine Arts. He has enjoyed nearly twenty solo shows in Europe, USA and China (The National Art Museum of China-NAMOC; Tenri Cultural Institute, NY e.t.c.) and has taken part in many group exhibitions and International Biennale.
Selected Collections in which his work is displayed in: The National Centre of the Performing Arts-NCPA, Beijing; The Hellenic Parliament; Beijing International Art Biennale Collection. He has been awarded with the silver prize sculpture in pose, at the first Wenzhou International Sculpture Exhibition. He is a visiting Professor at Shenyang City University. Lives and works in Athens, New York and Florida.
